This is the first image from a series of composite portraits in a landscape that i plan to create.
The process of creating composite images brings many challenges, the photographs have to be taken from the same perspective and angle, with a same or appropriate focal length and aperture. The lighting conditions should be the same as well.
One of the biggest challenge is to place the person in the image when it wasn’t photographed in the same location as the rest of the images.
For this I had to recreate the same lighting conditions and to mask easier where the feet makes contact with the ground from the landscape, during the photoshoot i have placed some grass under and around the feet off the model, this way is much easier to make it blend with the rest of the image. I have created a short GIF animation with some of the steps of the retouching process.
